Roof Replacement in Rex, NC
When patch jobs stop making sense, a full replacement resets the clock with new decking, underlayment, and a shingle system built for the next twenty-plus years.
These are the specific reasons Rex customers pick us for Roof Replacement work over a general handyman or an out-of-town crew.
We remove every existing layer down to bare decking rather than laying new shingles over old ones, since overlays trap heat and hide rot.
Every section of exposed decking gets inspected for rot or delamination, with damaged sections replaced before new underlayment goes down.
Certified installation matters because most extended manufacturer warranties require it; an uncertified install can quietly void that coverage.
Timelines are committed to in writing, including what happens if weather pushes the schedule, so there's no guessing mid-project.
If your Roof Replacement situation doesn't fit neatly into one of these categories, call anyway, chances are we've handled something close to it before in Rex.
Every layer comes off down to the deck, with any rotted or delaminated sheathing replaced before synthetic underlayment goes down.
We install underlayment rated for the specific climate exposure in Rex, NC, not a generic felt paper base layer.
Correct nailing pattern and exposure are what actually determine wind rating, not just the shingle brand printed on the wrapper.
A new roof with old, unbalanced ventilation will underperform its warranty. We correct intake and exhaust ratios as part of every replacement.
New drip edge, step flashing, and counter-flashing go in with the replacement rather than reusing old, potentially corroded metal.
Warranty paperwork gets filed on your behalf at project close, and we review the completed work together before the job is considered done.
A real person answers, not a script, and gets the essentials needed to send the right specialist for the job. There's no automated phone tree to work through first.
A fully equipped Roof Replacement specialist heads out with the tools and materials most likely needed for the job described. Arrival windows stay tight because dispatch is staged locally in Rex, NC.
The specialist inspects the actual issue on-site and provides a written, flat-rate quote before any work begins. Nothing gets touched until you approve the number.
The job isn't done until it's done right, and it's backed by a written guarantee on our workmanship. A final walkthrough confirms everything before we consider the visit complete.
