Flat Roof Repair in Bigfork, MT

Flat Roof Repair In Bigfork, MT: TPO, EPDM & Modified Bitumen

Ponding water, a failed seam, or a punctured membrane all have different fixes, and guessing wrong just moves the leak somewhere else on the roof.

Why Choose Our Specialized Flat Roof Repair Team

The Flat Roof Repair Team Bigfork Trusts

These are the specific reasons Bigfork customers pick us for Flat Roof Repair work over a general handyman or an out-of-town crew.

Membrane-Specific Repair Expertise

We match the repair method to the actual membrane installed, not a generic patch approach that works on none of them well.

Ponding Water Diagnosis

Standing water after 48 hours signals a slope or drainage problem, not just a membrane issue, and we diagnose accordingly.

Minimal Business Disruption

Commercial flat roof repairs get scheduled around your operating hours whenever possible, minimizing disruption to tenants or business activity.

Leak Source Testing, Not Guessing

We use water testing and seam inspection to confirm the actual leak source before cutting into a membrane, since flat roof leaks often travel before showing up inside.

Comprehensive Flat Roof Repair Solutions

Flat Roof Repair Solutions Built Around Bigfork's Needs

Every category below is handled by our own Flat Roof Repair specialists, not a generalist crew or a subcontractor, which keeps the diagnosis and the fix consistent.

01

TPO Membrane Repair

TPO seam failures get heat-welded rather than caulked, since caulk alone won't hold under thermal cycling.

02

EPDM Rubber Roof Repair

EPDM repairs use a liquid adhesive and seam tape system specific to rubber membrane, not a general-purpose sealant.

03

Modified Bitumen Repair

Torch-down or cold-adhesive patches restore modified bitumen systems, matched to the original installation method.

04

Ponding Water & Drainage Correction

Tapered insulation or additional drains get added where standing water is accelerating membrane wear.

05

Flashing & Penetration Repair

Roof penetrations, vents, HVAC curbs, drains, get resealed or reflashed where membrane separation has opened a leak path.

06

Full Membrane Section Replacement

Section replacement gets used when patching would leave a larger vulnerable area than a proper tie-in replacement.

FAQ

What Bigfork Callers Ask About Flat Roof Repair

How do you know which membrane repair method to use?▼
Repair method depends on the membrane type installed, TPO gets heat-welded, EPDM uses adhesive and seam tape, and modified bitumen matches its original application method.
Is ponding water always a sign of a problem?▼
Some minor ponding is normal on flat roofs, but persistent standing water accelerates membrane wear and usually needs a drainage fix.
Can you repair a flat roof without disrupting our business?▼
We coordinate timing with building management, and most repairs don't require closing off building access.
How do you find a leak when the stain is far from the actual source?▼
We use water testing and seam inspection to trace the actual entry point, since water often travels along the deck before dripping through inside.
When does a repair make more sense than a full membrane replacement?▼
When damage is localized and the surrounding membrane is still in good condition, a patch or section repair is usually the right call.
Do you handle flashing and penetration leaks too?▼
Yes, HVAC curbs, vents, and drains are common flat roof leak points and get the same membrane-specific repair attention as the field.

Trusted Flat Roof Repair service in Bigfork, MT - GD Commercial Roofing
Some say the name "Bigfork" is derived from the Salish name for the area. However, Bigfork is a fork where two rivers, the Flathead River and the Swan River, flow in to the Flathead Lake. There are reports of a homestead and orchard immediately north of Bigfork as early as 1885. Everit L. Sliter set out 500 apple, cherry, plum, and pear trees in 1892 on Flathead Lake's east shore. He became the first postmaster in 1901. In 1902, he platted the Bigfork townsite at the mouth of the Swan River. The east shore has since become a major cherry-growing area. Wayfarers State Park lies just south of the community.
